My work in somatic research bridges movement, creativity, and growth. Dive into my projects and discoveries that celebrate the profound connection between body, mind, and expression.
1. Body Architecture: Group Research
A “Kinesthetic Tour” I created in collaboration with visitors’ bodies and voices, the project Body Architecture explores the physical and digital interactions between bodies and monuments. This research cultivates ideas and creates new possibilities, merging movement and space in innovative ways.
The study is divided into three sections
Body, Movement, Architecture by Sanaz Ghorbani
Body, Movement, Traveling by Dina Cheraghvand
Body, Voice, Architecture by Sorour Mousavi
2. Movement for Growth
I created the online group Movement for Growth, an experimental research collective that delves deeply into body and movement. Founded during the Paris lockdown in May 2020, this initiative began with a group of Iranian female artists documenting shared bodily experiences.
Highlights of the Project:
A series of videos and livestreams showcased in a digital exhibition in July 2020.
An online performance at the Movement Research Laboratory in New York in February 2021.
A live performance at the Reconnect Festival on April 25, 2021.

3. Creative Movement Sessions
In these sessions, we explore new ways of being, living, and feeling the world. By breaking old patterns and embracing creativity, participants uncovered unseen parts of themselves, leading to profound insights.
